Dans le Psaume 7, l David nous montre qu'il a compris l'importance d'avoir un coeur pur et propre dans sa relation avec Dieu s'il voulait être délivré de ses ennemis et s'il voulait recevoir de Dieu. L'iniquité peut bloquer nos coeurs et empêcher la protection de Dieu. Dieu répond à un coeur pur et David avait la foi et l'assurance de croire en le Seigneur parce qu'il avait examiné son coeur et qu'il savait que malgré ses faiblesses, ses motivations étaient pure et claire. Nous pouvons être séparés du Seigneur à cause du péché. Nous devons toujours examiner nos coeurs afin de nous assurer qu'il est droit devant le Seigneur.


In Psalm 7, we see a prayer of David, revealing that he understood that he had to have a pure and clean heart in his relationship with God, if he wanted to be delivered from his enemies and to receive anything from God. Iniquity can block the heart and keep us from Gods protection. God responds to a pure heart and David had faith and assurance to trust the Lord because he had examined his heart, and he knew that even though he had weaknesses, his motivations were pure and clear. We can be separated from the Lord because of sin, therefore we need always to be examining our heart, making sure that it is right before God.
