Après avoir rassemblé les tribus d'Israël, Dieu avait rappelé à son peuple tout ce qu'Il avait fait pour eux depuis qu'Il avait choisi Abraham. Sa main a été sur eux et les a protégés à travers les âges. Aujourd'hui, nous servons le Seigneur dans la Nouvelle Alliance et en tant que ses enfants nous devons connaître les dieux étrangers et les idoles qui existent toujours dans nos vies. Nous devons nous en débarrasser. Notre Dieu est un Dieu jaloux et Saint. Il a de la grâce pour nous pardonner nos péchés et Il veut nos coeurs et nos vies en retour.


After gathering the tribes of Israel, God reminded His people of all that He had done for them since He had chosen Abraham; that His hand has been upon them, protecting them through the ages. Today, we are serving the Lord under the New Covenant. As His children, we need to know the foreign gods and idols that are in our lives, and we must rid ourselves of them. Our God is a jealous and holy God. He has grants us grace by forgiving our sins, and He wants our hearts and lives in return.
